Machinist

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Industrial Radial Arm Drill Press.
• Utilizing blueprints provided by engineers for placement, drill bores, counter bores, and other holes needed for mold components.
• Performs close tolerance measurements utilizing measuring devices such as gauge pins, micrometer, calipers, or other related equipment.
• Regularly tests, oils, and cleans all equipment, tools, and machines to ensure they are arranged and set properly and working efficiently.
• Work with team to ensure projects are finished precisely and in a timely manner.

Requirements

• 2 years minimum experience in toolmaking/manufacturing environment preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Self-motivated team player with the ability and willingness to make decisions, effectively communicate, and problem solve.
• Lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to frequently walk, kneel, squat, climb, bend, stoop, and twist.
